I want Help Understanding Linkerd 8 Features & Setup

Hey everyone,

I have started exploring Linkerd & I am interested in the latest version 8. I have been checking out the docs on the site but I am still a bit unsure about some things. Mainly, I want to know what new features Linkerd 8 offers compared to older versions and how straightforward it is to set up for a small-to-medium sized project.

Also, if anyone has experience running Linkerd in production, I want to hear tips or common challenges to watch out for. How well does it handle scalability and security in real-world use?

I am also taking some Kubernetes Training, so I am trying to connect how Linkerd fits into the whole Kubernetes ecosystem.

Also i have check this I want Help Setting Up a Linkerd Service Mesh still need help. Any advice, personal experiences or useful resources would be appreciated.

(I’m assuming that you mean Linkerd 2.18, for the record.) If you’re new to everything, I think your best bet is our Service Mesh 101 course – that should give you the grounding you need, walk you through how to install Linkerd, and all that. Let us know if that helps!
