# Linkerd version 2025.3.1 and RKE2 k8s 1.34

Hello,

Have upgraded RKE2 from 1.33 to 1.34 after which linkerd control plane components (destination/identity/proxy-injector are not starting up

plugin type=“linkerd-cni” name=“linkerd-cni” failed (add): exit status 127

Tried Upgrading linkerd version , but still same issue

All configs looks good

Please could you guide me on the issue

Hey @hearysunny, thanks for bringing this one up! Noting that 2025.3.1 is over a year old at this point; have you had a chance to try a more recent Linkerd? In either case, it would be lovely to see a more complete log of the startup attempt…
